If you’re looking for a different way to spend an afternoon during your Corfu holiday, head to the Aqualand water park – an expansive complex featuring pools, giant water slides, hot tubs and a children’s play area complete with inflatable castles.
Open from May to October, the park sits in the heart of the island, near Agios Ioannis Afra, and is just a 20-minute drive following the road to Glyfada. It’s surrounded by woodland.
Aqualand sprawls across 75,000 square metres and is considered one of Europe’s finest water parks.
The pools featuring 7 different types of wave machines are particularly popular, as are the water attractions – Kamikaze and Crazy River, to name just a couple.
The site is also equipped with an arcade, five-a-side football pitch, table tennis and billiards.
