Avlaki beach sits along Corfu’s northern coastline between the village of Kassiopi to the north, just 2 kilometres away, and the village of Agios Stefanos to the south.
Relatively undiscovered by most of the island’s visitors, Avlaki is a long and gorgeous bay with crystalline waters. Wonderfully peaceful even during July and August, the beach is caressed by cooling breezes during summer afternoons that make the heat and humidity far more bearable.
The beach features white pebbles, is refreshingly quiet and perfectly suited to families with young children. It’s well-equipped with a couple of tavernas where you can grab a bite to eat. There’s car parking right behind the beach.
